Remote Control Plugin and Web Page

New Cuffs and Collars... as Well as Many Updates

We have added matching cuffs for many of the Elegance collar series. As well as an updated Barbarian Princess and an alternate Serendipity style. Along with these are updates to Collar v7.6, Cuffs 5.5 and Sensations 4.3 which are in the updater. An updated Sensations HUD 4.1 is included in all the items, and an updater for the 4.0 HUD is in the works. A weapon update is expected very soon as well as a bunch of other new updates, addons and items as I work through my backlog.

Support Issues

The Second Life status page says that offline IMs have been failing... I have noticed a decrease in support tickets... if you sent a message to Amethyst looking for support and did not get a reply from someone after a day... send Serenity Rosencrans an IM instead until this issue is resolved. I'll make another post here when I hear that it is no longer a problem.

New Products: Statues

New Product: Sculpted Avatar: Female

Normally we are busy making adult products, but this time we aren't. The Sculpted Avatar is a building component to allow builders/merchants/modelers and so forth have access to a life size person, but in prim form. I might make some statues out of it for decoration, so who knows. I was also thinking of using it to great demonic creatures that fu......err....you know.

I'm very proud of the great detail I put into it, considering there's so many vertices it turns the screen black with lines and dots. If you guys like it I'm sure I can whip together a male version as well.

Notes About Animation Sets + Cuffs 5.2 Self Bondage Update

There seems to be confusion about the new animation set. It comes with male and female animations... you do not have to issue the whole animation name for them.

For instance issuing .bara will play bara-femme if your gender is set to female... or it will play bara-homme if your gender is set to male.

People have been complaining about having to issue the long name and that is not the case. When it replaced the older animations, the older animations are included still with the prefix "old".

Fixes a bug that caused the self bondage setting to get filtered. So I reimplimented the self bondage setting to use the new loading system.

Collar v7.1, Cuffs v5.1 and Sensations v4.1

A bug fix update for problems discovered in the roll out are now in the vendors and updaters.

Fixed a problem with level 2+ and .owner, a problem announcing orgasm in the HUD Core plugin, and a problem where out of reach mode did not work properly.

I also didn't mention 10 new style collars by Puta Pixie.

The roleplay area under the store will be under construction for the next weeks so pardon our dust.

Collar v7, Cuffs v5 and Sensations v4

I have just put a big new set of updates in the vendors and updaters. Some of the features include secure communication, enhanced menus, roleplay system, mono and a new unified HUD for controlling most Sensations items. New plugins will be out in the next weeks.

There are some price changes: Collars have increased in price due to a new animation set by Chavo Raven. The starter kits are now cheaper and the Sensations HUD (core) is now free.

With the introduction of version 7 of the collar and version 5 of the cuffs we are announcing that after December 7th 2008 support will no longer be provided for Collar version 5 or earlier and Cuffs version 3 or earlier. Until December 7th 2008 you can get a free upgrade to version 6 of the collar (which can be updated to version 7) or for $200L you can receive an upgrade to version 7 with all the new animations.

To receive an upgrade from version 5 or earlier of the collar and cuffs version 3 or earlier send an IM to Amethyst Rosencrans requesting a manual update. A purchase record is required, we will try to look it up for you but please be prepared to provide information regarding the purchase.

After December 7th 2008 no support nor updates will be given for these items.

Today we released a new skin series for men after a long one year gap between the female skins made last year.

Beyond that me, Amethyst, and Talsia are in talks of remodeling the Sensations store. The new design is meant to reduce lag, make things more 'roomy', and make way for the new RP area. Yes you heard me right, an RP area. The upcoming versions of the Sensations Core and various other BDSM related products will be involved in a new BDSM RP system we are developing. The idea is to take subs to an RP area specially designed by us where users can punish/train slaves: Doing this will open up features and stronger control of that slave like as Dom/Sub points stack up on whoever is holding or at the end of the leash. I actually did a whip series before the skins, but have it on hold until the release of the Sensations RP system.

A lot of these things are still on the drawing board, but the new Sensations RP system will be out shortly. We will announce more information as it comes out.

The basic sculpted genital series today has officially replace the older prim versions, setting a new era for Sensations genitals.

We've released several multi-pose products and have more in store due to all the positive feedback we have received. Clearly beyond the collars/cuffs, the multi-pose products are the most popular Sensations products to date. Currently the Bondage Table, Throne, and Spanking Horse have been released: I plan/am working on a Bondage Tripod, Bondage Wall, and a St. Andrews.

This month Amethyst developed a new multi-pose system which we call "Sensations Pose". This system is more advanced and perhaps superior to previous multi-pose programs in Second Life. When you buy a product with the Sensations Pose system you can install your own animations/poses into products to further customize your items. Amethyst is considering a reseller program; however, I don't have any knowledge of how big a priority this is on her never ending list of things to do.

With the Sensations Pose system I have already developed several new products ranging from mud wrestling games, bondage tables, and thrones. Since I expect further growth in this area, I went ahead and created a section just for multi-pose products.

We are very close to opening the new Sensations main store. Myself and Amethyst have worked our butts off spending hundreds of hours in preparation for the grand opening. I've converted all my images and products over to Sensations now, so once the merger between Sensations and Mistress Knows Best is complete, Mistress Knows Best will be literal history. Neither of us have made any new items since the last update because of all the prep for the new store/merger.
